Jake has had a strong interest in Motorsports ever since he began walking.  He is a huge NASCAR and F1 fan and supports Ryan Newman as his favorite driver.  He has been racing karts competitively for 3 years.  In 2004, he finished 3rd in the Yamaha Jr. SSX Class at Badger Raceway.  He won the championship in 2005 in the highly competitive HPV Jr. Class.  For the 2006 season, Jake competed in the Midwest Sprint Series, a series of five races taking place all over the midwest.  Competing in the HPV Jr. Lite and Heavy classes, he finished 4th and 6th overall, respectfully.  Next year the team plans to continue to run with the Midwest Sprint Series as well as possibly run the WKA Manufacurers Cup, a highly competitive national series.

Jake is a Senior at East Troy High School where he has consistently appeared on the Honor Roll while preparing for a collegiate engineering program.  In addition to his passion for racing, he loves playing the trumpet.  He performs in both the Symphonic Band & Jazz Band at ETHS and has performed in several state sponsored Honors Band events.
